Faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. The idea of faith and what that means to each individual will vary. For some, it is faith in a higher power. For others, it is faith in your team, your family, or yourself. You can have faith that Valor will do what we say we are going to do.
Integrity is doing the right thing every time. Everything we do should be based on a perspective of integrity first. Every decision and every action we take should be based on “is this best for the client?” and “will this help promote our brand based on integrity?”
Respect is acting with honor, professionalism, and kindness. If we act with integrity, then respect should come naturally. At Valor, our expectation is that every team member will show respect to our clients, our co-workers, and our suppliers. Every single person you interact with is an opportunity to show respect and professionalism. This core value also applies to your work. Respect company guidelines, policies, and follow recommendations and requirements in your employee manual. Our goal is to develop a glowing reputation for honesty and exceptional customer service. If we maintain an attitude of respect, the rest will follow.
To strive is the action of making great efforts to achieve; i.e., constant improvement. The strive to constantly improve should be central to everything we do. Improving our customer service, mastering our craft, and improving our industry knowledge is just scratching the surface. Can we improve how we interact with the public and generate referrals? Can we improve our number of 5-star reviews? Can we improve the client experience? These are questions that we will never stop asking. Most importantly, we want to focus on improving ourselves. Self-improvement is a key ingredient to living a life with purpose. We encourage every member of the Valor team to actively seek new ways to improve themselves.
